Red Wing Farm
(Hildreth-Robbins House)
17 Maple Road
The Hildreth-Robbins House is another historically significant place located in Chelmsford. The main block of the house was built in 3 stages over the course of the second half of the 18th century. That block has also been connected to a 19th
century barn. It was one of the major farmsteads of South Chelmsford of the 18th and 19th centuries, but the thing that is really unusual about it is the fact that it was a rare 18th century farm owned by a woman (Sarah Hildreth). The Hildreth-Robbins House is located on Red Wing Farm. Located at the farm is also a bike path and walking trails.
